Final Cut

“How are you able to pull that off?” I hear that almost every other day. Being able to work full-time and go to school full-time is a task, but it’s also about being able to balance the two. When I first started the process of developing a digital story, it really had me at odds. A writer has so much to tell, but can have writers block when it comes down to getting actual content. I decided to do my story on me working/going to school full-time because when to comes to that topic, I can talk for hours about my journey. I say that because I have been on this journey for quite sometime now, so of course I have a lot to tell.

Creating this digital story was not easy. It wasn’t easy because it’s also an emotional roller coaster for me. I had so many brainstorming ideas on what I should talk about, but of course this one took the prize. Even throughout the process of creating my storyboard and discussing it with my peers, they wanted to hear this story out of all of them. So, I narrowed my choices down to this story to show people what a ride it has been, and to express how hard it is to take on such a task. I hope this story finds interest with the audience, also, a way for my viewers to understand the hard work that comes along with it.

Here is a look at the final product of my digital story.
